The Los Santos Police Department has a total of two operational bureaus. Both bureaus are focused on certain operational aspects of the department, responsible for driving the Los Santos Police Department forward.
👮 Bureau of Career Development
The Bureau of Career Development is responsible for training new Police Officers within the Los Santos Police Department, administering exams, certifications and other important department proceedings. The Bureau of Career Development plays a very important role in the daily operations of the Los Santos Police Department.
The Bureau of Career Development is commanded by both a Captain and Lieutenant.
The Bureau of Career Development consists of two specialized units:
Comprehensive Training Unit: Tasked with training, educating and certifying new Police Officers.
Career Advancement Unit: Tasked with training, educating and certifying Officers in special roles.

👮 Bureau of Investigative Services
The Bureau of Investigative Services is responsible for investigating all types of different crimes within the City of Los Santos. They will commonly conduct investigations in relations to robberies, homicides and other violent crimes. The Bureau of Investigative Services is responsible for working with other law enforcement agencies to apprehend high-risk suspects. The Bureau of Investigative Services plays a very important role in the department operations.
The Bureau of Investigative Services is commanded by both a Captain and Lieutenant.
The Bureau of Investigative Services consists of two specialized units:
Investigations Unit: Tasked with all thorough department investigations, like robberies or shootings.
Metropolitan Unit: Armed force tasked with assisting in Investigative Services, like serving warrants or court papers.
